Scholarships: How
To Apply
SETRAC has set up a scholarship program to provide educational opportunities to its
participants. Anyone interested must (1) complete the scholarship application, (2) receive approval from SETRAC for course/cost
of course, (3) pay for the course, and (4) successfully complete the course. Once the course has been completed, the
applicant will need to send in the signed scholarship agreement and proof that the course was successfully completed.
Documentation should be submitted no more than 10 calendar days after completing the course. Once SETRAC
receives this information, SETRAC will reimburse the student for the agreed amount of the course. Scholarship reimbursement
is limited to $200 per course effective January 25, 2010.

Mission
The mission of the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory
Council is to facilitate coordination of trauma providers to ensure the most efficient, consistent, and expeditious care of
each individual who experiences an acute injury, by developing and maintaining integrated quality processes in patient care,
research, education, and prevention.
Purpose
In order to support this mission SETRAC will provide
educational scholarships for RAC personnel in need of trauma training. SETRAC will assist with the payment of up to 1 course
per person per year . Funding is limited by the budget and will be provided on a 1st come 1st served basis and will be dependent
upon the appropriateness of the request. A list of approved courses is provided. Please fill out the application form above.
